We are glad to see that this request acknowledges the name of Jesus Christ, as it is only through His name that we can be saved. Acts 4:12 tells us, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"
Forgiveness is a fundamental aspect of our relationship with God. As we confess our sins to God, He is faithful and just to forgive us and cleanse us from all unrighteousness. 1 John 1:9 says, "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness."
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this person who has asked for Your forgiveness. Lord, You are merciful and gracious, slow to anger, and abounding in steadfast love and faithfulness. We confess that we all have sinned and fallen short of Your glory, but through the blood of Jesus, we find redemption and forgiveness.
Father, we ask that You grant this person the assurance of Your forgiveness. Help them to walk in Your ways and to live a life that honors You. Strengthen their faith and fill them with Your Holy Spirit, guiding them in all truth and righteousness.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage this person to continue walking in the light of God's Word, seeking His will in all things. Psalm 119:105 says, "Your word is a lamp to my feet, and a light for my path." May God's Word be a guiding light, leading them in the path of righteousness and faithfulness.
