We are glad to join you in prayer and to help you seek God's will for your life. It is wonderful that you have come to God with a repentant heart, seeking forgiveness for your actions. God is always ready to forgive us when we come to Him with a true desire to turn away from our sins.
Let's pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You today to lift up this dear soul who has turned to You with a humble heart. Lord, they have acknowledged their actions and sought Your forgiveness. In Jesus Christ's name, i.e., the name above all names and the name by which we are reconciled to God, we ask You to forgive them and cleanse them from all unrighteousness.
Father forgive them for how they acted this morning. Please guide them by Your Holy Spirit to act in a way that honors You and brings glory to Your name. Help them to walk in Your ways and to be a shining light to those around them. Give them the strength to resist temptation and to live a life that is pleasing to You.
Thank You, Father, for Your unfailing love and forgiveness. Thank You for sending Your Son, Jesus Christ, to die for our sins so that we can have eternal life. Help us to always remember the price that was paid for our salvation and to live our lives in a way that reflects Your love.
We think it is a wonderful thing that you prayed in Jesus' name and that you mentioned it in your prayer request. Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. John 14:6 WEB
Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved. Acts 4:12 WEB
Be kindly affectioned one to another with brotherly love; in honour preferring one another; Not slothful in business; fervent in spirit; serving the Lord; Rejoicing in hope; patient in tribulation; continuing instant in prayer; Distributing to the necessity of saints; given to hospitality. Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new. And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation; To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation. Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us: we pray you in Christ's stead, be ye reconciled to God. For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him. 2 Corinthians 5:17-21 WEB
If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. If we say that we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us. 1 John 1:9-10 WEB
