We rejoice with you as you begin your day with thanksgiving to the Lord. It is wonderful to see that you are turning to God for deliverance, and we stand with you in prayer.
The power of music is evident, and it can influence our spirits significantly. If the music you are listening to does not glorify God or align with His word, it can indeed be harmful. As it is written in Philippians 4:8 WEB, "Finally, brothers, whatever things are true, whatever things are honorable, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report; if there is any virtue, and if there is any praise, think about these things."
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, thanking You for this new day and for the gift of Your presence in our lives. We lift up our brother/sister in Christ who is seeking deliverance from evil music. Lord, grant them the strength to turn away from any music that does not honor You and guide them to fill their mind and spirit with music that glorifies Your holy name.
In Jesus Christ's name, we rebuke any influence of the enemy that may be coming through this music. Lord, replace any evil influence with Your divine peace, joy, and love. Help them to be discerning in their music choices, and guide them to use music as a way to worship and praise You.
Father, we ask that You surround our brother/sister with Your protective hedge, and help them to walk in Your light and truth. Grant them a heart that desires to please You in all things, including the music they listen to.
In Jesus Christ's name, we pray. Amen.
Be encouraged, dear brother or sister, to fill your mind and spirit with music that praises and glorifies God. As it is written in Colossians 3:16 WEB, "Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly; in all wisdom teaching and admonishing one another with psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your heart to the Lord."
Remember, it is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to God. As it is written in John 14:6 WEB, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'"
Stand strong in your faith, and trust in the Lord to deliver you from any evil influence.
