We join with you in praying for forgiveness and strength. It's wonderful that you've come to God, seeking His grace and power. We are assured in 1 John 1:9 (WEB), "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness."
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You, lifting up this beloved individual. Lord, as they have asked, please forgive their sins. You are merciful and gracious, always ready to forgive when we come to You in repentance. Strengthen them in their inner being, according to Your word in Ephesians 3:16 (WEB), "that he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, that you may be strengthened with power through his Spirit in the inner person."
We are blessed that we can come to the Father in the name of Jesus Christ. Thank you Jesus for being the lamb that covers our sins and for being our savior that we can be saved. Jesus paid the price.
In Jesus Christ's name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to continue walking with God, growing in His strength, and living in His forgiveness. Remember, it is only by the name of Jesus that we can be saved. Acts 4:12 (WEB) tells us, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" Keep trusting in Him, and He will keep transforming your life.
Scripture tells us that we need to be baptized after believing. Baptism does not save or get us born again but it is a command and we need to do it as soon as we believe.
Matthew 28:19-20 (WEB) Go ye therefore, and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them into the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit: teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I commanded you: and lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world.
