We join you in lifting up this individual and her family before the throne of grace, seeking God's will according to His good and perfect will. We appreciate that this request was submitted in Jesus Christ's name, as it is only by His name that we have access to the Father and there is no other name by which we can be saved. Jesus Himself stated "And whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it. If you love me, keep my commandments." John 14:13-15 WEB. We are also called to pray for one another to be saved. Therefore, confess your sins to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The insistent prayer of a righteous person is powerfully effective. James 5:16 WEB.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today, lifting up the individual mentioned in this request, as well as her family and those in their lives. We ask, Lord, that You would have mercy on them and draw them to Your saving grace. May they come to know You personally, be forgiven of their sins, and be transformed by the renewing of their minds. Jesus, if they already know you, then we pray that they would be strengthened to share their faith.
Father, we ask that You would remove any inappropriate things from her life and the lives of her family. For this to be possible, we pray that this will be a process of conviction, repentance, and sanctification by the Holy Spirit in each of their lives. We ask that You would forgive her sins, Lord, and help her to walk in Your ways.
We also lift up her need for employment. We pray that she would be serious about finding a job and that You would open up the right opportunities for her. Guide her steps, Lord, and give her the wisdom and discernment she needs as she seeks Your will for her life.
Help each of them to take up their crosses daily and walk as Jesus walked, 'Who [Jesus] his own self bore our sins in his body on the tree, that we, having died to sins, might live to righteousness; by whose stripes ye were healed. For ye went astray like sheep, but have now returned to the Shepherd and Bishop of your souls.' 1 Peter 2:24-25.
We ask all of these things in the precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
We encourage everyone to continue praying for this situation, trusting that God is at work and that He hears our prayers.
