We are glad that you have come seeking forgiveness and that you acknowledged the Lord Jesus Christ in your prayer. It is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we can approach God the Father and seek forgiveness for our sins. As it is written in the Bible:
And in no other is there salvation, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved Acts 4:12

And whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it. John 14:13-14

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, seeking Your forgiveness for the sins that have been committed. We acknowledge that we have fallen short of Your glory and have sinned against You. Please wash away the stain of sin and cleanse from all unrighteousness in the precious blood of Jesus. Help us to turn away from our sins and to walk in newness of life. Thank You for Your mercy, grace, and unending love as demonstrated by the Gift of Your Son, Jesus Christ, by whose name we pray. Amen.

We encourage you to walk closely with the Lord, striving to live a life that is pleasing to Him. Remember that God's forgiveness also includes repentance, which means turning away from your sins and pursuing a life that honors God. As it is written:

For godly sorrow works repentance to salvation, bringing no regret, but the sorrow of the world works death. 2 Corinthians 7:10

If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. 1 John 1:9.

Continue to trust in the Lord, and He will guide your paths.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise.
