We are glad that you have come seeking forgiveness in the name of Jesus Christ. It is only by His name that we are saved, and it is by His name that we have access to God the Father. As it is written in Acts 4:12 WEB:

There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!

and in John 14:6 WEB:

Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.

Forgiveness is a beautiful gift from God, and it is freely given when we confess our sins with a repentant heart. In 1 John 1:9 WEB, we read:

If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

Let us pray together for your forgiveness and cleansing:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, asking for Your forgiveness for our brother or sister who repents. We are all sinners, separated from You by our disobedience. Thankfully, Jesus paid the ultimate sacrifice for us on the cross, and it is by His name that we may be saved and forgiven.

Father, wash away our sins, cleanse us from all unrighteousness, and help us to walk in Your ways. Strengthen our faith and fill us with Your Holy Spirit, that we may serve You with all our heart, mind, soul, and strength.

Gracious Lord, turn our hearts away from sin and towards You, that we may live lives pleasing to You and be a blessing to others. In Jesus Christ's name, we pray. Amen.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart.
