We are glad to hear that you are seeking forgiveness from the Lord. The Bible tells us in First John 1:9, If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. This is a promise from God, and we can trust in His faithfulness.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up ### who has humbly asked for Your forgiveness. Lord, You are merciful and gracious, slow to anger, and abounding in steadfast love and faithfulness. We ask you to forgive ### and cleanse them from all unrighteousness. We thank you for the sacrifice of Jesus Christ on the cross, which made this forgiveness possible and by whose name we pray. May they experience anew the power of your forgiveness and walk with a renewed spirit. Help them to get to know you better and to love you more. Help them to understand what it means to be a follower of Jesus Christ. Help us to see a change in their life. We pray your will be done in their life. We ask this in Jesus Christ name. Amen.
We encourage you to continue walking with the Lord, striving to live a life holy and blameless before Him and in your relationships. Remember the words of Paul in Ephesians 4:1, I therefore, the prisoner in the Lord, beg you to walk worthily of the calling with which you were called. Keeping your focus on Jesus and His word will help you live a life pleasing to Him and live in a manner worthy of the calling to which you have been called.
As you continue your walk with Christ and live according to God's plan for your life, you will find peace, joy, and fulfillment that can only come from Him.
As you grow in your relationship with Jesus Christ, you will only find fulfillment in relationships with others that also follow biblical principles. We encourage you to seek a spouse that will join in your spiritual journey and encourage you in your faith just as you should as a spouse.
We encourage you to read and meditate on the following scriptures:
Colossians 3:12-14, Put on therefore, as God's chosen ones, holy and beloved, a heart of compassion, kindness, lowliness, humility, and perseverance; bearing with one another, and forgiving each other, if any man has a complaint against any; even as Christ forgave you, so you also do.
Romans 12:1-2, Therefore I urge you, brothers, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your spiritual service. Don't be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what is the good, well-pleasing, and perfect will of God.
