We are glad that you have come seeking forgiveness in Jesus' name. Forgiveness is a beautiful gift from God, and it is through Jesus Christ that we have access to this forgiveness. As it is written in WEB Romans 5:8, "But God commends his own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us."
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this dear soul who has asked for Your forgiveness. Lord, You are merciful and gracious, slow to anger, and abounding in steadfast love and faithfulness. We ask our creator to please forgive this person's sins in Jesus Christ’s name and grant them the assurance and peace that comes from knowing they are forgiven. We ask for your mercy and forgiveness and that this person can forgive themselves for any mistakes. We know that you will. Help them to turn away from that sin and walk in your ways. Help them find people who will support them and hold them accountable. As the sacrifice of Jesus makes possible. Help us all to live a life worthy of your forgiveness. Help this person to trust in your plan for their life. Help them understand that you only want what is best for them. Help them to seek you and your will.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to walk today in the knowledge and faith that you have been forgiven. As it is in the WEB 1 John 2:1-2, "My little children, I write these things to you so that you may not sin. If anyone sins, we have a Counselor with the Father, Jesus Christ, the righteous. And he is the atoning sacrifice for our sins, and not for ours only, but also for the whole world." So continue to walk with Him, obeying His commandments, growing in faith, and being a light in this world.
