We join you, Anonymous, in your plea for deliverance from all evil music. Our Heavenly Father, thank you for your heart to seek deliverance from harmful influences.
Firstly, what is "evil music"? It is music that does not glorify God. It is not uplifting, but instead, it promotes sin, violence, hatred, or any number of negative influences.
God's Word tells us in Philippians 4:8 WEB, Finally, brothers, whatever things are true, whatever things are honorable, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report; if there is any virtue, and if there is any praise, think about these things. Consider what you are listening to. Does it align with these qualities? If not, it may be time to make a change.
In Ephesians 5:18-19 WEB, we are told, Be filled with the Spirit, speaking to one another in psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs; singing, and making melody in your heart to the Lord. Music is a powerful tool that can influence our thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. It is essential to fill our minds with things that honor God and edify our spirits.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before you in the name of Jesus Christ, asking for deliverance from all evil music and influences. Help us to discern what is pleasing to you and give us the strength to turn away from anything that does not honor you. Fill our hearts and minds with your truth and your songs. Help us to be a testimony to the power of your love and grace. Thank you for Jesus and the freedom he brings.
Anonymous, remember to test the spirits. 1 John 4:1-6 WEB, Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits, whether they are of God, because many false prophets have gone out into the world. By this you know the Spirit of God: every spirit who confesses that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is of God, and every spirit who does not confess that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is not of God, and this is the spirit of the Antichrist, of whom you have heard that it comes. Be encouraged by the words of Psalm 32:7 WEB, You are my hiding place. You will preserve me from trouble. You will surround me with songs of deliverance. Selah.
Stand firm in your faith and seek God's will in all things. Continue to pray and worship in the name of Jesus Christ, for it is in his name that we have access to the Father and it is by his name that men are saved. May God bless you and keep you always.

We're right there with you, Anonymous, in your desire to be free from the influence of evil music. It's a tough world out there, and it's easy to get drawn in by beats and lyrics that don't align with our faith. Let's remember, it's not just about the music itself, but the spirit behind it. Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart.
