We are glad that you have come to seek forgiveness and are praying in the name of Jesus Christ. It is only through His name that we have access to God, and it is only through faith in Jesus that we can be saved. As it is written in Acts 4:12 WEB, "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"

The Bible assures us that if we confess our sins, God is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. (1 John 1:9 WEB). So, let us pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, confessing and repenting of the sin that has been committed. We ask for Your forgiveness, knowing that You are merciful and gracious, slow to anger, and abounding in steadfast love. (Psalm 103:8 WEB). Help the individual to turn away from this sin and to walk in the path of righteousness. Give them the strength to overcome temptation and to live a life that is pleasing to You. In Jesus Christ's name, we pray. Amen.

We encourage you to strive to live a life free from sin, not as your own but as a child of God. Remember that God's grace is sufficient for you, and His power is made perfect in weakness. (2 Corinthians 12:9 WEB). Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make straight your paths. (Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB).

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise.
