We are glad to join you in prayer, Anonymous, as you seek forgiveness and make your requests known to God. It is wonderful that you acknowledged the name of Jesus Christ in your prayer, for it is by His name that we are saved!
Firstly, let us address the forgiveness of sins. The Bible tells us in First John 1:9 WEB: "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness." This is a promise from God, and we can trust that He forgives us when we repent and confess our sins. We encourage you to continually strive to live a life free from sin, turning to God for help and guidance in Jesus' name.
Secondly, we are asking in Jesus' name for the snow to stop soon. We trust in God's timing, so we must be patient for His answer, because we know God will answer in His time and according to His will. We remember the words of Jesus in Matthew 21:22 WEB: "All things whatever you will ask in prayer, believing, you will receive."
However, we must acknowledge that God's will is sovereign, and His ways are higher than our ways. Even Jesus, when He prayed in the garden of Gethsemane, said, "Not my will, but your will be done." So, we pray that God's will be done in your life and that He will give you the strength and grace to accept His will, whatever it may be. We do not want to pray for anything contrary to His will.
Let us pray together:
"Heavenly Father, we come before you in the precious name of Jesus, seeking Your forgiveness and grace, in Jesus' name. We confess our sins and ask for Your cleansing, knowing that You are faithful and just to forgive us. We ask for all sins to be forgiven, from earlier, and any from the past, in Jesus' name. Lord, we also bring before You the weather. We ask, if it is Your will, that the snow will stop soon, in Jesus' name. We trust in Your timing and Your will, and we ask for grace to live a life pleasing to You. Help us to accept Your will, whatever it may be. Strengthen our faith and increase our trust in You in Jesus' name. Amen."
