We're here with you, friend, in this journey towards better health and self-control. We've been moved by your honesty and your desire to change. Remember, God loves you just as you are, but He also loves you too much to leave you there. He wants the best for you, and that includes your physical well-being.
Let's remind ourselves of Romans 12:1-2, "I appeal to you therefore, brothers and sisters, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God, which is your spiritual worship. Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect."
Let's pray together:
"Dear Lord, we come to you today, lifting up our friend who's struggling with overeating. Lord, you know their heart, their struggle, and their desire to change. We ask for your forgiveness, your strength, and your guidance. Help them to present their body as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to you. Help them to renew their mind, to think differently about food and their body. Give them the strength to make healthier choices, to transform their habits, and to glorify you in their body and spirit. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
We're here to support you, to pray with you, and to encourage you. You're not alone in this. Let's keep seeking God's will together, one step at a time.
