We join you in your heartfelt prayer, Anonymous, and we stand with you in the name of Jesus Christ. It is so important that you have acknowledged the power in the name of Jesus, for it is by His name that we have access to God and it is by His name that we are saved. As it says in Acts 4:12 "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved." We commend you for this.
The Bible tells us to "Be angry, and don't sin." (Ephesians 4:26). It is not a sin to feel anger, but it is important how we handle it. Unresolved anger can turn into resentment, and rebellion against God's will can open doors to evil influences. The Bible warns us, "Don't give place to the devil." (Ephesians 4:27).
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up Anonymous. Lord, they have acknowledged their struggles with evil, rebellion, anger, and resentment, and they desire to be freed from these burdens. We ask, Father, that You grant them the strength and wisdom to overcome these challenges.
Help them, Lord, to forgive as You have forgiven us. Guide them to manage their anger in a way that honors You. Give them a spirit of obedience and submission to Your will, that they may walk in Your ways and live in Your freedom.
We pray:
Cast out evil:
"Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you." (James 4:7).
Forgive our sins and rebellion:
"For rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft, and stubbornness is as idolatry and teraphim. Because you have rejected the word of Yahweh, he has also rejected you..." (1 Samuel 15:23).
"If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness." (1 John 1:9).
Overcome resentment:
"Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, outcry, and slander, be put away from you, with all malice."
(Ephesians 4:31).
Manage anger:
"A soft answer turns away wrath, but a harsh word stirs up anger." (Proverbs 15:1).
Walk in obedience:
"For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments. His commandments are not grievous." (1 John 5:3).
We ask for you to lead, guide, counsel, and provide wisdom and strength to Anonymous to do these things and to glorify you.
In Jesus Christ's name, we pray. Amen.
Be encouraged, Anonymous. God is faithful, and He will help you overcome these struggles. Trust in Him, and He will guide you. Remember God's promise in Romans 8:28:
"We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose." Keep your faith in Jesus Christ, and know that He is always with you.
