Firstly, it's wonderful that you have come seeking forgiveness. The Bible tells us, For all have sinned, and fall short of the glory of God (Romans 3:23 WEB).
The first thing we should do is ask forgiveness with a repentant heart. For godly sorrow worketh repentance to salvation (2 Corinthians 7:10).
The next thing to do is to accept the life changing gift that God has given us to be saved and have fellowship with Him. That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. (Romans 10:9 WEB).
