We are glad to join you in prayer, ###, as you seek forgiveness from the Lord. It is wonderful that you acknowledged your need for forgiveness and ended your prayer in the name of Jesus Christ. This is so important because, as the Bible tells us, "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved but the name of Jesus." (Acts 4:12 WEB)
The Bible assures us that "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness." (1 John 1:9 WEB) So let us pray together:
Almighty God, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up ### who has sought Your forgiveness. Lord, You are merciful and gracious, slow to anger, and abounding in steadfast love and faithfulness. Forgive ### for yesterday's actions, and cleanse their heart from any unrighteousness. Help them to walk in Your ways and live a life pleasing to You. Strengthen their relationship with You and guide them by Your Holy Spirit. In Jesus Christ's name, we pray. Amen.
