We are glad that you have come seeking forgiveness and have approached the throne of grace in Jesus' name. It is only by the name of Jesus Christ that we can approach God the Father, and it is only by faith in Jesus that we can be saved and forgiven of our sins. As it is written in Acts 4:12 WEB, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved."
Let us pray together for your forgiveness and restoration.
Heavenly Father, we come before you in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this dear soul who has asked for your forgiveness. You are faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9 WEB). We confess that we all fall short of your glory and need your mercy and grace. Thank you for your lovingkindness and for sending your Son, Jesus Christ, to die for our sins and be raised for our justification. We ask that you would fill this person with your Holy Spirit, guide them in your truth, and help them to walk in your ways. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to continue in prayer and in the study of God's Word. As you grow in your relationship with Jesus Christ, you will experience the transforming power of the Holy Spirit, who will enable you to live a life pleasing to God. If you have any specific sins that you are struggling with, we encourage you to confess them to God and to seek the support of fellow believers. Remember that God's grace is sufficient for you, and his power is made perfect in weakness (2 Corinthians 12:9 WEB).
If you have not already, we encourage you to become a part of a local community of believers, where you can worship God, learn from his Word, and be encouraged and supported by other Christians. It is important to be in fellowship with others who share your faith and can help you to grow in your walk with Christ.
Be assured that God loves you and desires the best for you. He has promised that those who seek him with all their heart will find him (Jeremiah 29:13 WEB). May you experience his love, forgiveness, and guidance in your life.
