We rejoice with you, Anonymous, as you begin your day with thanksgiving and a desire to please God. It's wonderful that you acknowledge the Lordship of Jesus Christ in your prayer, for it is in His name that we have access to the Father, as it is written: "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus" (1 Timothy 2:5 WEB).
The Lord delights in a heart that seeks to honor Him and shun evil. As you strive to avoid all things that are not of God, remember the words of the Psalmist: "I will set no wicked thing before my eyes; I hate the work of those who fall away; It shall not grasp me" (Psalm 101:3 WEB). And the Apostle Paul encourages us: "Finally, brothers, whatever things are true, whatever things are honorable, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report; if there is any virtue, and if there is any praise, think about these things" (Philippians 4:8 WEB).
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, thanking You for the new day and the mercy that accompanies it. We ask that You strengthen Anonymous, and help them to avoid all that is not pleasing to You. Grant them discernment to recognize and wisdom to choose Your will. Help them to fix their mind on whatever is true, honorable, just, pure, lovely, and of good report. Keep them from the temptations of the world, the flesh, and the devil. Let Your Holy Spirit guide and empower them to live a life that honors You in all things, through Jesus Christ our Lord, we pray. Amen.
Be encouraged, Anonymous, to walk in the Spirit, and you will not fulfill the lusts of the flesh (Galatians 5:16 WEB). Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight (Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB).
