We are glad that you have come to us seeking forgiveness and that you ended your prayer correctly in Jesus Christ name. It is wonderful that you acknowledge the need for forgiveness, as the Bible reminds us to forgive others and to seek forgiveness when we have wronged someone else. This is an important part of our Christian walk.
Let us remember what Jesus Christ taught us, and to forgive others when others have wronged us. Colossians 3:13 WEB: "Forbearing and forgiving one another, if any man have a complaint against any; even as Christ forgave you, so also do ye."
Let us pray:
Almighty God, our Heavenly Father, we come before you in the name of Jesus Christ, thanking you for the forgiveness that you have given us. We are all sinners and have fallen short of your glory. We are not worthy, but yet you have redeemed us by the blood of your Son, Jesus Christ. You have cast our sins as far as the east is from the west. Thank you, Father, for your forgiveness. 1 John 1:9;
WEB: "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness."
We bring Anonymous before you, asking for your forgiveness for any sins that they may have committed, known or unknown. Father, search their heart and cleanse them of anything that is not pleasing to you. Give them the strength to forgive others and to live a life that is pleasing to you. Guide them in your way, and lead them in the paths of righteousness. Give them a hunger and a thirst for your Word, and help them to be a vessel that you can use. In the name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
Continue to examine yourself and seek God's will for your life. Be open to His leading and guidance, and He will direct your paths. Remember that His ways are higher than our ways, and His thoughts higher than our thoughts. Trust in Him, and He will never leave you nor forsake you. Keep your eyes focused on Jesus and not a person, and live a life for Him.
