We are glad to join you in prayer for this person's salvation and your own forgiveness. It is wonderful that you acknowledged the name of Jesus Christ, as it is through Him that we have access to God and salvation. As the Bible tells us in Acts 4:12 WEB, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved."
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this person who is in need of salvation. We pray that You would soften their heart and open their eyes to the truth of the Gospel. Grant them the gift of faith and repentance, that they may turn to You and be saved. We ask this in accordance with Your will, for You desire that none should perish, but that all should come to repentance (2 Peter 3:9 WEB).
Lord, we also bring before You the one who submitted this request. We ask that You would forgive their sins, as they have asked, and cleanse them from all unrighteousness. We know that if we confess our sins, You are faithful and righteous to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9 WEB).
Help them to walk in Your ways, to obey Your commandments, and to live a life that is pleasing to You. Grant them the strength to resist temptation and the wisdom to make godly choices.
We ask this all in the precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
Continue to pray for this person's salvation and your own walk with God. Remember that God's will is for all to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth (1 Timothy 2:3-4 WEB). Trust in His promises and rest in His love for you.
If there are any specific sins that you are struggling with, we encourage you to seek godly counsel and accountability. Do not let sin reign in your mortal body, that you should obey it in its lusts (Romans 6:12 WEB). Instead, present yourselves to God, as alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness to God (Romans 6:13 WEB). Prayer Focus: God, Thank You for loving me. Thank You for loving me, Jesus. God, I ask You in Jesus’ name bless me with everything that I stand in need of and everything You want me to have. Bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, soul, mind, and strength and never fall out of love with You. Bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, and Your righteousness. Help and strengthen me God to always respect and obey You. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, acknowledge You in all my ways, and lean not to my own understanding.
God heal me. Deliver and cleansed me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the grace and knowledge of Christ Jesus. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind.
