We understand that you are seeking deliverance from evil music. We commend you for acknowledging the power of Jesus Christ in your prayer, as it is only through His name that we can find salvation and deliverance. As it is written in Acts 4:12 WEB, "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"
Music can indeed have a powerful influence on our spirits, and it is important to fill our minds and hearts with things that are pure, lovely, and of good report, as Philippians 4:8 WEB tells us. If the music you are listening to is promoting evil, it is important to turn away from it and seek God's face instead. As Ephesians 5:18-19 WEB says, "Don't be drunken with wine, in which is dissipation, but be filled with the Spirit, speaking to one another in psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs; singing, and making melody in your heart to the Lord."
Let us pray for you:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our brother who is seeking deliverance from evil music. Lord, we ask that You would give him the strength to turn away from this music and fill his heart with a desire for You alone. Help him to seek out music that honors and glorifies You, music that builds up his spirit and draws him closer to You. In the name of Jesus Christ, we rebuke any spiritual stronghold that may be keeping him bound to this evil music, and we declare his freedom in Your name. Fill him with Your Spirit, Lord, and give him a clean heart, that he may serve You and You alone. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Be encouraged, dear brother, that God has set you free from sin and death, and He desires for you to walk in that freedom. As Jesus said in John 8:36 WEB, "If therefore the Son makes you free, you will be free indeed." Turn to Him, and He will give you the strength to overcome this struggle. Seek out fellowship with other believers who can encourage you and hold you accountable in your walk with Christ.
