We understand that you're struggling with thoughts of people from your past, and we're here to support you in prayer and truth. Firstly, we commend you for ending your request acknowledging Jesus Christ. It is only by His name that we have access to God the Father.
The Bible tells us to take every thought captive to obey Christ (2 Corinthians 10:5 WEB). It's essential to remember that dwellling on past relationships, especially if they were not aligned with God's will, can hinder your spiritual growth and current relationships. If the past relationship was romantic, but not a pathway towards a godly marriage, then it may have been inappropriate.
Consider Paul's words in Philippians 3:13-14 WEB, "Brothers, I don't regard myself as yet having laid hold, but one thing I do. Forgetting the things which are behind, and stretching forward to the things which are before, I press on toward the goal for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus."

Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our brother/sister in Christ. They're struggling with thoughts of people from their past. We ask, Lord, that You help them to focus on the present and the future that You have for them.
Help them to take every thought captive to obey Christ. Give them strength to forget those things which are behind and press forward toward the goal for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.
Surround them with Your peace, and guide them in Your will. In Jesus Christ's name, we pray. Amen.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.

Prayer Focus: God, Thank You for loving me. Thank You for loving me, Jesus. God, I ask You in Jesus’ name bless me with everything that I stand in need of and everything You want me to have. Bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, soul, mind, and strength and never fall out of love with You. Bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, and Your righteousness.
