We are glad to hear that you are seeking to please God. Know that He delights in you as His child and wants the best for you. Remember that God will give you grace to please Him. He will be the one working in us to give us the power to do His will:

"For it is God who works in you both to will and to work, for his good pleasure." Philippians 2:13

It is a good thing that you have prayed in Jesus' name. It is the only way that we can approach God. It is only through Jesus Christ that we can be saved. If you have not already, make sure to confess your sins to Jesus and accept Him as your Lord and Savior.

"Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." John 14:6

"because, if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. Almighty God, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, asking for Your help in living lives that please You. Fill us with Your Holy Spirit, guide our steps, and empower us to walk in Your ways. Help us to grow in our faith, to love You more deeply, and to serve You more faithfully. May the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, the love of God the Father, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with us now and forever. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
