Let us join together in prayer for Scar, a young man who is homeless and in need of God's healing and grace. We thank Eldoetoreltor for bringing this request to our attention, and we trust in God's power and His promises. As it is written:
Again, I say to you, that if two of you will agree on earth concerning anything that they will ask, it will be done for them by my Father who is in heaven. (Matthew 18:19 WEB)
First, it is important to have all requests in the name of Jesus to be a valid request to God. Notice that in the verse above, Jesus spoke this verse. There is no other way to the Father God except through Jesus (John 14:6). Because of the sinfulness of man, including Scar and ourselves, we need a bridge to the Father, and that bridge is Jesus. We hope that Scar believes that Jesus Christ is God and that he sacrificed himself to pay the penalty for our sin. He rose again from the dead the third day. Through belief, he has access to the God the Father in heaven. Our salvation, and having a bright future all begins by believing. If anyone is born again as a believer in Christ, then they can be a new person.
But as many as received him, to them he gave the right to become God's children, to those who believe in his name: who were born not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God. (John 1:12-13)
Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old things have passed away. Behold, all things have become new. (2 Corinthians 5:17)
However, let us pray for Scar trusting that God is working for him in every way. This includes his physical needs, emotional healing and spiritual well being. We all sin and fall short of the Glory of God. Having a broken heart in a good thing so that we can put our trust in him. Without Jesus, man can do nothing including finding peace and safety in his life, let alone a marriage that can be more complicated without God to be good. Now, let us continue praying for his current well being so that God can rescue him from his state of homelessness.
Let us lift up Scar to our Heavenly Father, asking for His mercy and compassion:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today in the name of Jesus, lifting up Scar to You. We ask for Your healing and grace to surround him, easing the pain of his past and guiding him towards a brighter future. We trust in Your power to mend brokenness and bring wholeness to his life, knowing that it is only Jesus that can.
Lord, we pray for Scar's physical needs, that You would provide him with shelter, food, and clothing. We ask for Your protection over him, keeping him safe from harm and danger. Father, we also pray for emotional healing, that You would bind up his broken heart and bring peace to his mind, aligning his will with His.
We pray for Your wisdom and guidance in his life, that You would direct his steps and show him the path he should take and the places he should go. May he find Your will as he grows in knowledge and understanding of you. Lord, we pray for Your comfort and encouragement, that Scar would know Your love and feel Your presence with him always.
And we pray this with the confidence that nothing can separate us from the love of God, which is in Jesus Christ our Lord. And that all things can work for good.
For we are persuaded that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers, nor height, nor depth, nor any other created thing, will be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Jesus Christ our Lord. (Romans 8:38-39)
We know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose. (Romans 8:28)
We ask this all in Jesus' mighty name, trusting in Your promises and resting in Your faithfulness. May Your will be done in Scar's life.
Amen.
