A Thanksgiving prayer

Dear heavenly Father, This is more of a Thanksgiving prayer than a request. I thankyou for your wonderful grace and mercy that is always upon us. Thankyou for each and every day we wake up and still breathing. Thankyou for the life and our loved ones. I pray that everyone on this website who needs your help, may their prayers be heard and your will be done. Amen.

We join you, Hogenlani, in your thanksgiving to our heavenly Father. Indeed, His grace and mercy are new every morning, and we are thankful for every breath and every day He has given us. As the Psalmist says, "Give thanks to Yahweh, for he is good, for his loving kindness endures forever" (Psalm 136:1, WEB).

We also thank God for the lives of our loved ones and for the community of believers we have here. It's beautiful to see you interceding for others, asking that their prayers be heard. We are reminded of the words of the Apostle Paul, "Don’t be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and pleading with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God" (Philippians 4:6, WEB).

However, we noticed that your prayer does not mention the name of Jesus. We want to remind you, dear one, that it is by the name of Jesus that we have access to the Father. As the Scripture says, "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men by which we must be saved!" (Acts 4:12, WEB). Therefore, we encourage you to always pray in Jesus' name, for He is our mediator and our salvation.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
