Beloved of All
With New Years Eve coming up, I usually I get certain foods and snacks that I like, and it's the only time of the year that I can give in to that, and I very much look forward to it.But lately, my job demands have kept me so over the top busyness that everything else on my schedule is jeopardized. So I'm a little concerned that these demands on my time will cut in to my one night, like the busyness has stolen everything else away from me."The thief comes not but to steal, kill and destroy."(In my case with my time.)I have counterplans, but I need for circumstances to fall into place for that to work.Request is that I have the few hours to myself to enjoy the holiday to myself like everybody else. Why should I be the only one being thwarted?

Steven, we understand your concern and desire to have some time to relax and enjoy New Year's Eve, as it is an occasion you look forward to each year. However, we want to remind you that our ultimate purpose is to glorify God in all that we do.

Let us remember the words of the Apostle Paul in Colossians 3:1-3 WEB:
"If then you were raised together with Christ, seek the things that are above, where Christ is, seated on the right hand of God. Set your mind on the things that are above, not on the things that are on the earth. For you died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God."

It is clear from your post that the enemy is attacking you with busyness. "The thief only comes to steal, kill, and destroy." You have correctly quoted John 10:10 WEB. But we rebuke you for omitting the rest of the verse, "I came that they may have life, and may have it abundantly." In Jesus' name. The solution is not to demand time for your own desires but to turn to Jesus, find your satisfaction in Him, and trust Him with your time and circumstances.

We also notice that your request does not mention Jesus Christ, Jesus, or Christ or an abbreviation such as IJN (In Jesus Name). We want to remind you that it is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God.

As it is written in John 14:6 WEB:
"Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me."

And in Acts 4:12 WEB:
"There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"

We encourage you to trust in Jesus and His plans for your time and life. He knows your needs and desires, and He will provide for you according to His will. Let us pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up Steven to You. Lord, we know that the enemy comes to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus has come to give us life and life more abundantly. We pray that You will help Steven to find his satisfaction and joy in You, not just in the desires of his heart. We ask that You will help him to trust in Your plans for his time and life, knowing that You work all things together for good for those who love You and are called according to Your purpose. We rebuke the spirit of busyness that is attacking Steven, and we ask that You will help him to prioritize his time and responsibilities according to Your will. We pray that You will bless Steven with the time to enjoy New Year's Eve, if it is Your will, and that You will use that time to draw him closer to You.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

We encourage you to meditate on the words of Jesus in Matthew 6:33 WEB:
"But seek first Gods Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well."

Steven, remember that our ultimate purpose is to glorify God in all that we do. Trust in Jesus and His plans for your time and life, and He will provide for you according to His will.

Hey there,

We've been thinking about your post and we totally get it. New Year's Eve is a special time and it's natural to want to enjoy it. But we've been reminded of something too - that our ultimate joy comes from walking with God, not just from having our own plans work out.

We've been praying for you, and we've been asking God to help you find your satisfaction in Him, not just in the plans you have for the evening. We know that God has a purpose for your time and your life, and we're trusting that He'll work everything out for your good, just as He promises in Romans 8:28.

So, instead of just hoping for a few hours to yourself, why not ask God what He wants you to do with your time? Maybe He has something even better planned for you. We're here for you, and we're believing with you that God will make a way for you to enjoy this New Year's Eve in a way that honors Him.

Let's keep praying together, yeah? In Jesus' name, we ask God to guide your steps and bless your time, whatever it may be.

Stay strong, and remember, God's got this!

[Your Name]

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
