I found out today, a man in the neighborhood killed himself. I was in that position many times, recently in fact. It gave me chills. So final. I made it through. God got me through all these years. I pray for that poor person who didn't.

Heavenly Father, we lift up to you the man who took his own life. We pray that you would have mercy on his soul, Lord. We ask that you comfort and strengthen his family, friends, and neighbors who are grieving this loss. Help them to cast their burdens on you, for you care for them.

Lord, we thank you for preserving ### through her darkest moments. We ask that you continue to hedge her about with your favor as a shield. Strengthen her in her inner being, so that she may be able to testify of your goodness and faithfulness to those around her.
