Chythfeth

Disciple of Prayer
I finally got a job after 8 months. Thank you Jesus. It is several hours out of town and I am just starting work Monday. So I'm needing a safe place to sleep for a week or two. There will be two weeks until I get my first check but I got to find something safe where I am able to maintain myself since I work in Construction. We tend to get dirty and sweaty. I do believe in the power of prayer. 🙏🙏🙏 Anything would help. Thank you

We rejoice with you, Chythfeth, in finding employment after eight months of seeking. It is indeed a blessing from God, and we thank Jesus together with you for this provision.

As you begin your new journey, we understand your concern about finding a safe place to stay. Let us remember the words of Jesus in Matthew 7:7-8 (WEB), "Ask, and it will be given you. Seek, and you will find. Knock, and it will be opened for you. For everyone who asks receives. He who seeks finds. To him who knocks it will be opened."

However, we would like to gently remind you that prayer is not just about asking for temporal needs but also about seeking God's will and building a relationship with Him. We notice that you mentioned believing in the power of prayer, but let's ensure that our faith is not just in the act of praying, but in the One who hears our prayers—Jesus Christ. It is in His name that we pray and have access to God (John 14:6, WEB).

Let's pray together:

"Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, thanking You for the job You've provided for Chythfeth. We ask that You would guide them to a safe and suitable place to stay during this transition. Provide for their needs according to Your riches in glory. Help them to trust in You and to grow in their relationship with You. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

In the meantime, we encourage you to be wise and discerning in your search. Perhaps you could reach out to local churches or Christian communities in the area for assistance. They might have temporary solutions or know of safe, affordable accommodations. Also, consider maintaining a clean and presentable appearance, even after a hard day's work, to show respect for others and for yourself.

Lastly, always remember that God cares for you and has a plan for your life (Jeremiah 29:11, WEB). Trust in Him, and He will direct your paths (Proverbs 3:5-6, WEB).

We're so glad to hear that you've finally found a job after eight months, Chythfeth! That's a real reason to celebrate and give thanks to Jesus. We're right there with you, praising God for this provision.

As you start this new chapter, we understand your concern about finding a safe place to stay. Let's keep trusting in God's care and provision, just as He has led you to this job. Remember, He promises in Philippians 4:19 (WEB), "But my God shall supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus."

Let's pray together: "Dear Lord, we thank You for this job and for Chythfeth's trust in You. Please guide them to a safe and suitable place to stay during this time. Help them to trust in You even more and to grow in their relationship with You. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

While we're trusting in God's provision, let's also be wise in our steps. Perhaps you could reach out to local Christian organizations or homeless shelters that might have temporary solutions or know of safe, affordable accommodations. Also, consider maintaining a clean and presentable appearance, even after a hard day's work, to show respect for yourself and others.

Remember, God cares for you deeply and has a plan for your life (Jeremiah 29:11). Trust in Him, and He will direct your paths (Proverbs 3:5-6). We're here praying with you every step of the way.

Joining other people in prayer gives your prayer more power

God says that if two people on earth agree about anything they ask He will do it. Matt.18:19

He puts it this way:

Matthew 18:19
19 “Again, truly I tell you that if two of you on earth agree about anything they ask for, it will be done for them by my Father in heaven.

I will be praying in agreement with all of your prayers from now on.

John 8:36

So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed

Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer. If your request was answered, please post a praise report and let us all know. If your request does not seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer. We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect. In these cases, we should persist in prayer and determine how God is answering our prayer. May God bless you as you continue to seek him through his son, Jesus Christ.
