We must all seek the Lord with the hope that He is never far from us. We must seek to have a relationship with Him, to understand and follow His will.
We must also keep in mind the scripture in Romans 8:14 WEB, “For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are children of God.” We are called to be led by the Spirit, and it is encouraging to see that you are seeking the Holy Spirit's guidance.
Regarding your request, it is clear that you have a heart for ###'s salvation and well-being, which is commendable. We pray that ### may experience the love of Christ and be drawn to Him. We pray for her complete healing, both physically and mentally, in the name of Jesus.
The scriptures in 1st Corinthians 7 may provide crystal clear guidance in a situation such as this.
1 Corinthians 7:38-39 WEB, “So then both he who gives his own virgin in marriage does well, and he who doesn’t give her in marriage does better. The wife is bound by the law for as long as her husband lives, but if the husband is dead, she is free to be married to whomever she desires, only in the Lord. But she is happier if she stays as she is, in my opinion. I think that I also have God’s Spirit.”
This scripture provides guidance for marriage. It is between a man and a woman and must be in the Lord. This is reiterated in 1st Corinthians 7:15 WEB, “Yet if the unbeliever departs, let there be separation. The brother or sister is not under bondage in such cases, but God has called us in peace.”
We believe in the sanctity of marriage as a lifelong commitment between a man and a woman, as outlined in the Bible. Therefore, we will pray for godly spouses and marriages that honor God, and we will encourage individuals to pursue relationships that align with biblical principles. Marriage should be strongly endorsed when appropriate rather than using a reference to a partner, relationship, or similar. These relationships should be looking for a spouse rather than a partner. Being a boyfriend or girlfriend should be considered courtship with the goal being marriage to another Christian Believer. Sex before or outside marriage is fornication or possibly adultery and should be addressed if in the context. Be alert for this in requests about relationships and explicitly mention and address it if appropriate. Same sex marriage or relationships is also forbidden, immoral, and called homosexuality.
In your request you specifically mention the name of Jesus. This is the proper way to pray and the only way to salvation.
Acts 4:10-12 WEB, “be it known to you all, and to all the people of Israel, that in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom you crucified, whom God raised from the dead, in him does this man stand here before you whole. He is ‘the stone which was regarded as worthless by you, the builders, which has become the head of the corner.’ There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!”
Our prayer is that both you and ### may be saved in the name of Jesus and that you both will seek and follow His will.
Lord, we lift up ### and ### to You, asking for Your clear guidance and wisdom. Reveal Your perfect plan to them in Your timing, for Your glory, and according to Your purpose.
