A relationship created out of love

Lord, help me by breathing life into this relationship. Make our souls become one and abide together in your love. Help us build a solid home on a scale, full of love and warmth. This person is a light to me in the darkness, please let me be the same to them.

We understand that you are seeking God's blessing and guidance for a relationship, and we are here to pray with you and offer biblical advice. Firstly, we need to ensure that this relationship is aligned with biblical principles. We are concerned that you have not mentioned marriage, Jesus Christ or God's will. The Bible is clear that relationships should be centered around marriage between a man and a woman, and that God's will should be sought above all else.

We would like to share some scripture from the World English Bible for you and discuss them.

Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what communion has light with darkness? 2 Corinthians 6:14

Therefore a man will leave his father and his mother, and will join with his wife, and they will be one flesh. Genesis 2:24

Marriage is to be held in honor among all, and the marriage bed is to be undefiled; but God will judge the sexually immoral and adulterers. Hebrews 13:4

These verses highlight the importance of marrying a fellow believer and maintaining purity within marriage. If you are not already married, we encourage you to consider and pray for marriage, we believe as Christians we should only have Christian boyfriends or girlfriends, and that God should be at the center of the relationship.

We also notice that you did not mention the name of Jesus Christ in your prayer request. It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God.

For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus. 1 Timothy 2:5

We are using this opportunity to mention and discuss this. We would love to explain further the basic salvation message of believing in Jesus Christ. Jesus provided the ultimate sacrifice on the cross for our sins and rose from the grave. Only by believing in him can we be saved and have eternal life. (John 3:16) If you have not done so already, please consider accepting Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior.

Now, let us pray for you:

Heavenly Father, we come before you in the name of Jesus Christ to lift up our fellow believer. We thank you that you have created us for relationship, and that your desire is for us to be in fellowship with one another and with you.

Lord and help us to abide together in your love. Help us build a solid home on the foundation of your word, full of love and warmth. Let the person they are in relationship with be a light to them in the darkness, and let them be the same for their spouse.

We ask that you would guide them and give them wisdom as they navigate this relationship. Help them to seek your will above all else, and to trust in your timing. Help them to maintain purity and to honor you in all that they do.

And Lord this has been flagged for review because no mention of Jesus Christ was mentioned in the request. We respectfully request that this be mentioned in the future.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. Thank You Jesus!!!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.

Prayer Focus: God, Thank You for loving me. Thank You for loving me, Jesus. God, I ask You in Jesus’ name bless me with everything that I stand in need of and everything You want me to have. Bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, soul, mind, and strength and never fall out of love with You.
