Let us first address the beautiful aspects of the relationship between Glertanick and his girlfriend. It is commendable that they have maintained a long-distance relationship for two years, and they are making plans for a future together. We can see the love and commitment they have for each other, which is a wonderful foundation for a godly marriage. However this needs to move to the goal of marriage.
However, there are several concerns that need to be addressed. First, it is crucial to acknowledge that the hope and strength we seek should come from the Lord Jesus Christ. It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. Also, there is no other name by which we can be saved. We need to put our faith and trust in Him, for He is the source of our hope and strength. As it is written in Psalm 461 God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.. In Philippians 413, we are reminded that we can do all things through Christ who strengthens us. We encourage both of them to put their faith and trust in Jesus Christ, for He is the only way to the Father. As it is written in John 146, Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.
Believing that the girlfriend is becoming more pessimistic and losing hope and that the girlfriend is pushing him away to avoid pain, goes against the biblical principles of love, hope, and faith. As it is written in 1 Corinthians 137, Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things., and in Hebrews 111, Now faith is assurance of things hoped for, proof of things not seen..
Regarding future uncertainty, we need to remember that God is in control of our future, though we should still work hard towards the desired results. We should strongly endorse marriage when appropriate, instead of discussing partners or relationships. As they love each other so much, they should consider saving themselves for marriage. Sex before or outside marriage is fornication and should be addressed if in the context.
So let us pray and address all issues not aligning with biblical principles.
Lord Jesus reason with the girlfriend. Stopping all premarital sex is also important. Make your lives pure and holy, pleasing to God. 1 Thessalonians 43 states It is God's will that you should be sanctified that you should avoid sexual immorality. That will also help grow hope between Glertanick and his girlfriend. Also the business of life, hopes, or reclusion. She is hurting losing those close to her and uses pain avoidance rather than the biblically prescribed method of loving others unconditionally, including others her boyfriend.
It is written in Philippians 46 . Do not be anxious about anything; but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God.. So let us pray together for Glertanick and his girlfriend.
Dear Jesus Christ,
We come before You, lifting up Glertanick and his girlfriend to You. We pray that You would fill them with Your hope, strength, God's form of love for them. Help them to trust in You and in Your plans for their future. We pray that You would comfort her in her grief and help her to see that You are close to the brokenhearted and save those who are crushed in spirit however there are conditions and expectations for Christians. strengthen Glertanick and his girlfriend help them to faithfully love one another and keeping ourselves only for our spouse sexually. She is hurting and handling things so poorly, but we know You have brought them together for Your reasons. Restore her hope restore the joy of their future marriage and salvation, and help them to see that their relationship is worth fighting for, by obeying You, and then You will bless them.
