We are truly sorry to hear about your situation, but we want to encourage you that God has a purpose and a plan for your life, even in this difficult season. Firstly, we want to remind you of Romans 8:28 in the WEB, "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose." Even though it's hard to understand now, your job loss and health struggles can ultimately work together for good as you love and trust God.
However, we want to gently correct one thing. You mentioned accepting your "fate" as if it was God's will for you to be ill and lose your job. While God can use these circumstances for good, it's important to remember that God does not desire for us to be sick or suffer. Jesus went about healing all who were sick (Matthew 4:23), showing us God's heart for our wholeness. Instead of accepting a painful situation as God's will, we should pray for healing and trust that God can turn even the most difficult circumstances into something beautiful.
Let's pray together:
"Father in heaven, we come before You in Jesus' name, lifting up our dear friend who is going through a tough time. We ask for Your healing touch on their health. We also pray for a new job opportunity, one that will bring joy, provision, and a sense of purpose. Lord Jesus, we know that You care for us, and that You have a good plan for our lives. Help our friend to trust in You, to be anxious for nothing, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, to present their requests to You (Philippians 4:6). We ask all these things in Jesus' name, Amen."
Lastly, we want to encourage you to keep seeking God in this time. Draw near to Him, and He will draw near to you (James 4:8). This can be a time of deepening your relationship with Jesus, who loves you and cares about every detail of your life. Keep trusting in Him.
