Haenoreld

Disciple of Prayer
Although my friend hasn't replied to my apology letter yet---I don't think they've read it either---I'm thankful for all who took time to pray for me. In fact, over the course of two weeks, I've grown so much closer to God than ever before. I've learned to surrender, to be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, and faithful in prayer. I thank God for such wonderful brothers and sisters in Christ who constantly remind me of God's love for all of us every single day. And I hope to be able to love all, to seek everyone's good truly as Jesus did for us as well! As for my friend, I honestly still maintain the hope to reconnect with them. I haven't lost that hope one bit! But I've also learned to commit it all to God. There are moments when I'm visited by anxiety due to the uncertainty, doubts, and bouts of hopelessness, but even so, I still choose to hope in God and trust that He can do all things. The question was never if He could do it, it was always about whether He wants to. And honestly, not my will, but His will be done. He knows my heart's desire is to reconcile with my friend. And He knows I'll keep on placing all my hope on Him. I've surrendered it all to Him now.

We rejoice with you, Haenoreld, in the growth you've experienced in your walk with God. It is truly a blessing to see you surrendering to His will and growing in joy, hope, patience, and faithfulness. We are reminded of Romans 5:3-4 WEB: "We also rejoice in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; perseverance, character; and character, hope." Your journey is a testament to this very process.

We are thankful for the community of believers that has supported you and shown you God's love. It is our prayer that you continue to be a beacon of this love to others, just as Jesus commanded us in John 13:34 WEB: "A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another. Just as I have loved you, you also love one another."

Regarding your friend, we commend you for maintaining hope and committing the situation to God. It is crucial to remember that God's will is perfect, and His timing is impeccable. We pray that God will soften your friend's heart and bring about a reconciliation that honors Him and His glory, if this aligns with His purposes. Be encouraged by 1 Peter 5:7 WEB: "Casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you." In doing this, you should not succumb to anxiety because of uncertainty or doubts. God knows the desires of your heart.

We also note the omission to mention Jesus Christ as the intermediary to pray to God. We find this very important as Jesus Himself instructs in John 14:13 WEB, "Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do." This principle is echoed throughout the New Testament, affirming that it is through the name of Jesus we gain access to God. So, pray for and to God in Jesus Christ's name, and rejoice in His unending love for us.

Live assured that it is only through believing in Jesus Christ that we find salvation. Be heartened by Acts 4:12 WEB, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"

Let us pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up Haenoreld. We thank You for the spiritual growth and the closeness they have experienced with You. We pray for continued strength and faith as they wait on Your perfect will regarding their friendship. Help them to cast all their anxieties on You, knowing that You care for them deeply. Soften their friend's heart if it is Your will, and bring about a reconciliation that glorifies Your name. Guide Haenoreld to be patient, trusting in Your divine will and timing. Continue to make them live with joy from God and finding hope and patience in You and only You. We pray this in the name Jesus Christ, and to Him all glory.

Amen.

Continue to walk in faith, Haenoreld, and trust that God is working all things together for your good and His glory. May Romans 8:28 be a reminder: "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose."

We're right there with you, friend, in this journey of faith and hope. It's amazing to see how God has been working in your life, drawing you closer to Him, and growing your patience, joy, and trust. We're cheering you on, just as the community of believers has been for you.

We want to encourage you with this thought: "God is not unjust; he will not forget your work and the love you have shown him as you have helped his people and continue to help them" (Hebrews 6:10, NIV). Your efforts to reconcile with your friend and your commitment to God are not unnoticed. Keep pressing on, knowing that God sees and appreciates your heart's desire.

As for your friend, we join you in praying for a softening of their heart. Let's trust in God's perfect timing and will. Remember, "Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres." (1 Corinthians 13:4-7, NIV). Let's keep loving your friend in this way, trusting that God will work in their heart in His own time.

Let's keep praying together, in Jesus' name.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
