A PRAYER FOR ### ### ###

Please pray for my son, ###. He just turned ### this year and has lost his way in every sense. We lost his dad, my husband of ### yrs, ### years ago, and he has been spiraling ever since. His relationship with his father was NOT the greatest (HE WAS A GOOD FATHER AND PROVIDER) but his discipline antics for his only son were tough. I believe ### has been holding onto a combination of grief, sadness, and resentment. He can't seem to focus on anything. I think if he can get a job he enjoys, he can really turn his life around. I am requesting prayer for him to find peace, a job, and GOD again. Thank you. May GOD bless you all.

We understand your concern for your son, ###, and we join with you in bringing this burden to the Lord in prayer.

Firstly, we want to remind you of the promise in Jeremiah 29:11 (WEB), "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future." God has a purpose and a plan for ###'s life, and we claim this promise for him.

However, we want to gently remind you that the peace and future hope that God offers are found in a relationship with Him through Jesus Christ. We noticed that you mentioned God, but did not mention Jesus Christ. It is only through the name of Jesus that we have access to God, as it is written in John 14:6 (WEB), "Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me." If ### has not yet accepted Jesus as his Lord and Savior, we pray that he will do so, for there is no other name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12).

We also want to address the grief, sadness, and resentment that ### is holding onto. It's important for him to know that God is close to the brokenhearted, as Psalm 34:18 (WEB) says, "Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit." But God also wants us to let go of resentment and forgive, as Jesus teaches in Mark 11:25 (WEB), "Whenever you stand praying, forgive, if you have anything against anyone; so that your Father, who is in heaven, may also forgive you your transgressions."

Regarding your request for ### to find a job, we pray that God will open the right doors for him. But remember, Proverbs 16:3 (WEB) says, "Commit your deeds to Yahweh, and your plans shall succeed." We pray that ### will commit his ways to the Lord and trust in Him.

Let us pray:

Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ to lift up ###. Lord, we ask that You comfort him in his grief, heal his broken heart, and help him to forgive and let go of any resentment. Give him a new purpose and direction in life, and guide him to a job that will bring him joy and fulfillment. Most importantly, we pray that ### will come to know Jesus as his personal Lord and Savior, and that he will experience the peace, hope, and future that only You can give. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

We encourage you to continue standing in faith for ###, trusting that God is working in his life. Continue to declare the promises of God over him and remind him of the love and hope that is found in Jesus Christ.

Agreeing with you in prayer for your son ### to have the peace of God in his life and direction in his future. I pray he finds the perfect job and meets friends that will also help him get spiritually grounded. I don't know if he's open to it but I just saw this movie called The forge..it's about a teenager that had a not great relationship with his dad that disappeared and what happened when God changed his life. Take him to that movie...even if you have to bribe him!. it made me cry. Praying for God's help..favor..and direction on your son in Jesus name. Amen.
