Disciple of Prayer
Dear God,
I come to You with a heart that is heavy and worn.
I feel broken, afraid, and uncertain of what tomorrow may bring.
The ground beneath me is shaking—
my job, my home, my very sense of security feels like it could vanish.
I am devastated, Lord.
I have cried, I have questioned,
and now I simply ask for Your presence.
Please hold me in this storm.
Wrap me in Your peace that passes understanding.
Calm the fear raging inside me,
and remind me that even in chaos, You are still God.
You have not abandoned me.
Give me strength for each step,
wisdom for each decision,
and the courage to keep going,
even when everything feels uncertain.
Open doors no one can shut,
and provide in ways I cannot see right now.
God, I need a miracle.
But more than that, I need You.
Help me to trust that You are working even in the silence.
Restore what is broken.
Make a way where there seems to be none.
And if I fall, catch me.
If I lose, carry me.
If I weep, hold me.
You are my refuge.
My hope.
My healer.
And in this darkness,
I will choose—however small my voice—to whisper,
“I still believe.”
Amen.
