We are thrilled to hear that you have reconnected with God after 25 years. It is truly a miracle of God's grace and a testament to His unfailing love and patience. We will be praying for you and your girlfriend, that God's will may be done in both of your lives.
Firstly, we commend you for your concern for your girlfriend's spiritual well-being. However, we must address a few things according to our biblical principles. As a group that adheres to the teachings of the Bible, we believe that God's design for a couple is that they should be equally yoked (2 Corinthians 6:14):
Do not be bound together with unbelievers; for what partnership have righteousness and lawlessness, or what fellowship has light with darkness?
This means that, as followers of Christ, we should seek relationships that will draw us closer to God and His purposes. While your girlfriend has been supportive of your decision to follow Christ and has even attended church with you, it's important to pray for God's guidance in your relationship and for her salvation.
We must also remember that it is only through Jesus Christ that we can be saved (Acts 4:12):
There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved.
Now, let us pray together for you and your girlfriend.
Heavenly Father,
We come before You, lifting up our brother who has returned to You after 25 years. We thank You for Your unfailing love and patience that has drawn him back to You. Lord, we pray for his girlfriend, that You would soften her heart and reveal Yourself to her in a powerful way. We ask that Your Spirit would guide her and draw her to You, that she may come to know You as her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
Lord, we also pray for Your will to be done in their relationship. We ask for Your guidance and wisdom as they navigate this new season of spiritual growth. Help them to honor You in all they do, and give them the strength to follow Your paths, even if that means making difficult decisions.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Be encouraged and stay steadfast in your walk with the Lord. Trust that He is working in your girlfriend's life and in your relationship. Keep praying and seeking God's will, and He will direct your paths (Proverbs 3:5-6):
Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight.
Continue to show her the love of Christ in your actions and prayers, and remember that God's desire is for all to come to the knowledge of His saving truth (1 Timothy 2:3-4):
For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior; who desires all people to be saved and come to full knowledge of the truth.
