Dear Heavenly Father,

For marriage is honourable in all, and the bed undefiled but fornicators and adulterers God will judge.
Help them to resist temptation and remain chaste. Guard their relationship and their families from evil and from those who have evil intentions. We pray for Your blessing and favor upon them, that they may find support and approval from their parents.
Let them learn to be husband and wife rather than just a boyfriend and girlfriend.
Nevertheless, each of you must also love his own wife even as himself; and let the wife see that she respects her husband.
We pray and hope that if this courtship results in a marriage that it would be a lifelong commitment between ### and ###, honoring You in all they do.
What therefore God has joined together, let no man separate.
May love, peace, and understanding grow between them. Guide them to seek Your will above all else.

You must be careful that you are both Christians, and that it is God's will that you be married together so that you do not face unequal yoking.
Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what communion has light with darkness?
