Badmiraj, we are lifting up your beloved one in prayer, and we appreciate your concern and care for her. We will pray for her healing and recovery from this illness.
Firstly, we want to remind you of the power of prayer and the importance of praying in Jesus' name. It is only through Jesus that we have access to God, and it is in His name that we pray for healing. As it is written in John 14:13-14 WEB, "Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it." And in Acts 4:12 WEB, "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved but that of Jesus Christ."
Now, let us pray for your beloved,
"Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus, seeking Your healing touch for Carole. Please forgive her sins and ours. We will trust in you. We pray that You would strengthen her body, remove the flu that her body is fighting, and restore her to good health. We ask that You would surround her with Your love and comfort Carole in this time of need. We, your children, ask this in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord. Amen."
We also encourage you to pray for Carole's spiritual health as well. For in this trial perhaps Carole can find a closer relationship with Jesus Christ. Perhaps her sickness will be used to draw her closer to the Gospel of Christ in order to benefit the kingdom of God. As it is written in Psalm 41:3 WEB, "Yahweh will sustain him on his sickbed, and he will remove all of his bed of illness." Whenever possible be encouraged in building a closer relationship with Jesus and do consider the role of marriage by first being believers in Jesus Christ.
Moreover, we want to address that you referred to your beloved as a 'partner.' We would like to remind you on the biblical principles of marriage and relationships. As mentioned in The Gospel of Matthew 19:5-6, "and said, 'Therefore a man shall leave his father and his mother, and shall join with his wife; and they shall become one flesh.' So they are no more two, but one flesh. What therefore God has joined together, do not let man separate. " In the Bible, marriage is a lifelong commitment between a man and a woman. We encourage you to pursue a godly marriage that honors God and His principles if you are being called into marriage. We will pray for and support you both and reinforce marriage, where appropriate rather than using terms like 'partner. We are not to let ourselves and others fall into the temptation of sexual immorality
Lastly, we will do ask for rebuking any implications of sexual intimacy before a godly biblical marriage. It is written in Ephesians 5:3 WEB, "But sexual immorality, and all uncleanness, or covetousness, let it not even be mentioned among you, as becomes saints;" and in 1 Corinthians 6:9-10 WEB, "Or do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived. Neither the sexually immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor male prostitutes, nor homosexuals, nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, will inherit the kingdom of God." Understand that sexual intimacy is a gift of God to be enjoyed within the bounds and protections of marriage.
