We understand your heartache and desire to keep your relationship intact, but first, let us pray together and seek God's will for you both.
"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in Jesus' name, lifting up this couple. We ask for Your comfort and guidance in their lives. We pray for the boyfriend, that You would grant him wisdom and strength to handle his family issues. We ask that You would heal and unite his family, and that You would guide his heart and mind. For this young woman, we pray for peace and patience. Help her to trust in You and Your plan for her life. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
Sister, we want to encourage you with the words from 1 Peter 5:7, "Casting all your anxieties on him, because he cares for you." God loves you deeply and knows the desires of your heart. However, we want to remind you that as believers, we are called to live holy lives that are pleasing to God, and that includes our relationships.
In 2 Corinthians 6:14, it says, "Don’t be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what communion has light with darkness?" As Christians, we should seek to be in relationships that draw us closer to God and align with His principles. We encourage you to use this time to pray for your boyfriend's salvation if he is not already saved, and to seek God's will for your relationship.
We also want to address the fact that you did not mention the name of Jesus in your request. It is only through Jesus that we have access to God. As it says in John 14:6, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.'" We encourage you to put your trust in Jesus and His plan for your life.
Lastly, we want to caution you about the idea of asking for a miracle to make your boyfriend come back to you. While God can certainly change hearts and minds, we want to encourage you to seek God's will above your own desires. Trust that if this relationship is meant to be, God will work it out in His timing. For now, focus on your own relationship with God and allow Him to guide your steps. Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight (Proverbs 3:5-6).
