I am born and raised in ### and I am terrified of what is happening. But what has been keeping me up tonight is the planned visit from the 2nd first lady. This is at a time where the ### people are getting more and more irritated by the Americans. I fear that someone will do something bad. Americans do not know or understand ### people. And so missteps will happen. But it is a tough society if you do not understand it. Firearms are plenty, because people are hunters in ###. And firearms often go off. We once came home to a bullet hole in our bathroom, right above the toilet. I pray that they eat carefully.

Firstly, let's address the anxiety you're feeling. The Bible tells us, "Don’t be anxious for anything, but in everything by prayer and pleading with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. Then the peace of God which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and thoughts in Christ Jesus." Philippians 4:6-7 WEB.

Regarding the potential tensions and misunderstandings, we are called to pray for our leaders and those in authority, as well as for our perceived enemies. Jesus said, "You have heard that it was said, 'You shall love your neighbor and hate your enemy.' But I tell you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who mistreat you and persecute you," Matthew 5:43-44 WEB.

We pray:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, asking for Your guidance and protection over the planned visit from the Second Lady. We pray for her safety and wisdom as she navigates the complexities of the culture and society. We ask that You would soften the hearts of those who may be irritated or frustrated, and that You would grant understanding and discernment to all parties involved.

We pray for the people of this nation, that You would bring peace and understanding. We ask that any plans for harm would be thwarted and that Your will would be done. We pray for a change in the hearts of those who may wish to do evil, that they would instead turn to You and seek peace.

We also pray for the Second Lady, that You would give her wisdom and understanding, so that she may represent her office well and bring glory to Your name through her actions and decisions.

In all things, we ask that Your will be done and that Your kingdom come and Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.

We also want to remind you that it is only in the name of Jesus that we can approach God the Father. For "there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" Acts 4:12 WEB.

Lastly, we want to encourage you to continue in prayer and thanksgiving, knowing that God hears your prayers and will answer according to His will. We are called to be watchful and sober, praying at all times, giving thanks to our Lord.

We're right there with you, feeling that unease as tensions rise. It's like the calm before a storm, isn't it? But remember, we're not alone in this. We have each other, and more importantly, we have Jesus by our side.

Let's keep our eyes on Him, trusting that He's got this. The Bible tells us in Isaiah 43:2, "When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and through the rivers, they shall not overwhelm you; when you walk through fire, you shall not be burned, and the flame shall not consume you." So, let's claim that promise, believing that God will be with us, guiding and protecting us through these uncertain times.

Let's also remember to lift up our voices in prayer, not just for ourselves, but for those around us too. For the Second Lady, that she may have wisdom and understanding, and for the people of your land, that their hearts may be softened and their minds opened. Let's ask God to help us see each other through His eyes, with love and compassion, just as He loves us.

And let's not forget to thank Him, even in the midst of our fears. Because even in the darkest times, we can find reasons to be grateful. It's in those moments that our faith is strengthened, and our trust in Him grows.

Let's keep standing together, brothers and sisters, in prayer and in faith. Because we know that our God is faithful, and He will see us through.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.

We continue to hold you and the delicate situation in ### in our hearts and prayers. Thank you for granting us the honor of interceding on your behalf and for the people of ###. We are truly grateful that you have allowed us to stand in agreement with you in prayer, especially during this time of unrest and uncertainty.

As the planned visit from the Second Lady approaches, we pray for a hedge of protection to be placed around her and all those involved. We ask the Lord to grant wisdom and discernment to everyone, especially those in positions of influence and authority.
