We are deeply concerned about your friend Javier and his wife Vivian, and we will lift them up in prayer together. Before we proceed, we want to remind you of what the WEB says in Matthew 19:6, "So that they are no more two, but one flesh. Therefore what God has joined together, donโt let man put apart." Divorce is not God's will for marriage, and we will pray for restoration and healing in their relationship.
Firstly, let's pray for Javier's physical healing. In Jeremiah 30:17, God promises, "For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh; because they have called you an outcast, saying, This is Zion, whom no man seeks after."
Now, let us pray:
"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our brother Javier. Lord, we thank You that You are the Great Physician, and we ask that You touch Javier's body and heal him completely. Be with the doctors and nurses, guide their hands, and give them wisdom in their decisions.
Lord, we also lift up Javier and Vivian's marriage. We know that You hate divorce, and we stand against it in Jesus' name. We pray for a spirit of unity and love to be restored in their home. We rebuke any spirit of division or discord that may have entered their relationship. We ask that You remind them of the vows they made before You and help them to be humble and forgiving, just as You are merciful and forgiving to us.
In all this, Lord, we ask that You draw Javier and Vivian closer to You. Help them to seek Your face and Your will for their lives and their family. We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen."
Tendaena, we encourage you to continue standing with them in prayer and support. Remind them of God's promises for healing and restoration, both physically and in their marriage. If they are open to it, encourage them to seek biblical counseling to help work through any issues in their relationship. Always be ready to share the hope that is in you, which is the Gospel of Jesus Christ (1 Peter 3:15).
