Let's bring these concerns before the Lord in prayer, seeking His comfort, protection, and healing.
Firstly, we acknowledge that God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control. Therefore, encourage your friend to seek the Lord in this time of need and pray for her. We know that God is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit. Therefore, pray for her spirit and her mind. When she said that she was scared, she opened the door for us to pray for courage for her. The Bible says, "Wait on the Lord. Be of good courage, and He shall strengthen your heart. Wait, I say, on the Lord! The Lord is the source of her courage, and He can provide the inner peace and strength that she needs. We agree together and pray for her anxiety to cease. The Bible tells us, "Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus."
Regarding your grandmother, we pray for her health and safe travels. The scripture says, "For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says the Lord." We pray for her healing from her sickness which also includes travel mercies as she journeys back to her hometown.
It is so important to pray in the name of Jesus, for the Bible tells us, "And whatever you ask in My name, that I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you ask anything in My name, I will do it." So we close this prayer in the name of Jesus, the name above all names, and the only name in which we can be saved, "Nor is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved."
Thank you for bringing these requests before us and before the throne of God. We stand with you in prayer, trusting that God will hear and answer according to His will. No request is too small or too big for our God, and He cares about every detail. Therefore I say to you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink; nor about your body, what you will put on. Is not life more than food and the body more than clothing? Look at the birds of the air, for they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more value than they? Which of you by worrying can add one cubit to his stature? And why do you worry about clothing? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow: they neither toil nor spin.
