A prayer for a safe ###

Thread Cover Image
Heavenly Father,

We come before You today with hearts full of hope and trust in Your mighty power. We lift up ###'s wife to You, asking for Your divine protection and care over her as she prepares to bring new life into this world. Your Word tells us, "Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I set you apart" (Jeremiah 1:5). We thank You for the precious life growing within her and for Your hand that has been upon this family from the very beginning.

Lord, we pray for a safe and smooth delivery. We ask that You guide the hands of the medical team and give them wisdom and skill. Let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard ###'s heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). May Your presence be felt in the delivery room, bringing comfort and assurance to ###'s wife.

We also pray for the baby, that this child would be born healthy and strong. "For You created my inmost being; You knit me together in my mother's womb" (Psalm 139:13). We trust that You have a plan for this child's life, a plan to prosper and not to harm, plans to give hope and a future (Jeremiah 29:11).

Lord, we ask that You bring ###'s wife and the baby home safely, as expected. Surround this family with Your love and protection. May they experience Your goodness and faithfulness in this season of their lives.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
