We understand that you are seeking a job to provide for your family, and we are here to pray and offer biblical guidance with you. Firstly, it is important to remember that God is our provider and that we should trust in Him to meet our needs. As it says in Philippians 4:19 (WEB), "My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus."
However, we need to ensure that we are seeking God's will in all things, including employment. It's not just about finding any job, but finding the job that God has prepared for you. As it says in Ephesians 2:10 (WEB), "For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared before that we would walk in them."
Let us pray together:
"Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus, seeking Your will for this dear one's life. We ask that You guide them to the job that You have prepared for them, a job that will not only meet their family's financial needs but also allow them to serve You and others. We pray against any anxiety or fear they may be feeling, and we ask that You fill them with Your peace and trust in Your provision. Help them to make the most of every opportunity, redeeming the time, because the days are evil. (Eph 5:15-16) We ask for your guidance, strength, and discernment in their pursuit. We pray that they will be a godly influence in the workplace and glorify God in Jesus name."
As we consider jobs to apply to be sure to consider the will of God. Avoid anything questionable or immoral. Also continue to be productive with your time as you seek employment. 2 Thessalonians 3:10 (WEB) says "For even when we were with you, we commanded you this: 'If anyone is not willing to work, neither let him eat.'" Make sure you are doing all you can to help yourself first.
Lastly, we want to encourage you to continue trusting in God and seeking His face. Remember that He is faithful and that He will provide for your needs. As it says in Matthew 6:31-33 (WEB), "Therefore don't be anxious, saying, 'What will we eat?', 'What will we drink?' or, 'With what will we be clothed?' For the Gentiles seek after all these things, for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well."
