A prayer before bed time.

Father God.. thank you for blessing me with another day.. although I am feeling tired and weary.. I thank you for all you've blessed me with.. I had a small break through with my husband.. in which he admitted to missing me and loving me.. but he expressed his bitterness towards me because of events we went through.. he said that the bitterness he holds clouds his mind and makes him feel as if he does not love me.. even though he knows he does.. father God, I pray that you lift the veil of evil that is draped over my husbands eyes.. I pray that you show him that with you, you make the impossible possible. I pray that you continue to soften his heart and show him that this is something we can pull through.. i am surrendering myself to you again.. dear lord. Please let my changes be apparent to my husband. Please father God.. let our marriage be restored.. I have made the first step in setting up a meeting with a counselor.. and I also have found a church in which I will be able to serve you better... I am surrendering my life of sin to you.. I ask you for forgiveness.. and I pray that you give me the strength to pull through these changes so that I can be the wife that you want me to be for my husband.. I pray that you help him see through the darkness.. so that I may carry his hurt and anguish with him.. I pray that you let me be his rock.. just as he was mine for so long... please father God.. hear my prayers.. my cries.. please restore this marriage anew and let us grow together and work through this. Cast away any evil that has its grips on us... and let our love prevail so that we may be able to praise you in unison.. and share the word of your love for all of eternity... 

i pray for all those who are gathered here today.. shine your light into our lives, holy lord. I am forever yours.
