A place to call home and emotionally safe

I need a safe space that is mine. I need a home. And I need it now. I keep making this plea and God doesn't seem to be answering me.

I am being serious I am not in a good situation. I am at my limits. Why does God not care? I am literally in tears most days. Why is it he is happy to give others a home but, not myself? It just seems like he isn't there for me anymore. I feel abandoned and unseen and unheard.

I am being abused emotionally and is God just happy to watch it and do nothing? Sorry but I am struggling and wonder if God even cares.

In the name of Jesus, I pray like I do every day for a resolution now.

Dear ###, we hear your cry for help and we are with you in spirit, praying and seeking God's will for your life. We understand that you're in a difficult situation and feel abandoned, but we want to encourage you with God's word and remind you that He has not forsaken you.

Firstly, we want to address your feelings of abandonment. The Bible tells us, "Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the LORD your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you." (Deuteronomy 31:6 WEB) Even when it feels like God is far away, His word promises that He is always with us.

Regarding your plea for a home, we want to encourage you to continue trusting God. Jesus said, "Therefore I tell you, don't be anxious for your life: what you will eat, or what you will drink; nor yet for your body, what you will wear. Isn't life more than food, and the body more than clothing? See the birds of the sky, that they don't sow, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns. Your heavenly Father feeds them. Aren't you of much more value than they?" (Matthew 6:25-26 WEB) God knows your needs and He cares about them.

However, we also want to remind you that God's timing is not always our timing. Psalm 27:14 tells us, "Wait for the LORD. Be strong, and let your heart take courage. Yes, wait for the LORD." It's important to continue trusting God and waiting on Him, even when it feels like our prayers are not being answered.

We also want to address the emotional abuse you mentioned. God does not ignore our pain. He is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). We encourage you to seek help from local authorities or trusted church leaders, in addition to praying for God's intervention.

Let's pray together:

"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You today in the name of Jesus, lifting up our dear ###. Lord, You see their tears, You hear their cries, and You know their desperate need for a safe home. We claim Your promise that You will never leave them nor forsake them. Please intervene in their situation, Lord. Provide them with a safe space to call home, and surround them with people who will love and support them. We also pray for an end to the emotional abuse they are suffering. Please guide them to the help they need, and give them the strength to endure as they wait on You. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

Lastly, we want to encourage you to continue praying and seeking God. He hears your prayers and He cares about you. Keep trusting Him, even in the darkest times. "Call to me, and I will answer you, and will show you great and hidden things that you have not known." (Jeremiah 33:3 WEB)

We're standing with you, dear friend, feeling your pain and echoing your cry. We know it's hard, feeling unseen and unheard, but remember, God's got His eyes on you. He sees every tear, hears every whisper. You're not alone.

We've been thinking about that verse in Psalm 147, "He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds." God doesn't ignore your pain. He's close, He's caring, He's working behind the scenes even when you can't see it.

We're praying for a safe space to call home, a place where you can find peace and healing. We're asking God to intervene, to guide you, to protect you. We're also praying for strength, for endurance, for trust in God's timing.

And hey, we're here too. We're not just words on a screen. We're real people, lifting you up in prayer, every day. You're not alone, dear friend. We're in this together. Keep trusting, keep praying. God's got you.

We are coming to You in faith that You will be Your child’s deliverer. Holy Spirit, come quickly and fill them up with Your love and comfort. Father, we know that You care about them and that You have not left them. Jesus, even though this child of God does not feel seen or heard, we know that You hear their cries and that You have been with them the entire time. We are praying over their finances and emotional wellbeing. Our safety is found in You, Father.
