We are glad to hear that you are seeking a new job, and we appreciate that you have submitted this request in Jesus' name. It is so important to acknowledge that it is only in Jesus' name that we have access to the Father and that there is no other name by which we can be saved. Your request is a testament to your faith, and we stand with you in prayer.
Firstly, we encourage you to trust in God's timing and plan for your life. His ways are higher than our ways, and His thoughts higher than our thoughts. Remember that "we know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose" Romans 8:28 WEB.
However it is also important to be proactive, "For even when we were with you, we commanded you this: 'If anyone is not willing to work, neither let him eat.' For we hear there are some who walk among you in rebellion, who don’t work at all, but are busybodies. Now those who are that way, we command and exhort in the Lord Jesus Christ, that with quietness they work and eat their own bread" 2 Thessalonians 3:10-12 WEB. Be actively seeking and applying for jobs, networking, and using the skills and talents God has given you. Don't forget to "Commit your work to the LORD and then your plans will succeed" Proverbs 16:3 WEB.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up Iambuios who is seeking a new job. We thank You for Your faithfulness and the promise that You have a hope and a future for each one of us.
Lord, we ask that You guide Iambuios to the right job, one that aligns with Your will and purpose for their life. Open the doors that need to be opened and close the ones that are not from You. Give them the wisdom to discern Your direction and the strength to follow it. Proverbs 3:5,6 WEB says, "Trust in the LORD with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."
In the meantime, we pray that You provide for all their needs according to Your riches in glory. Help them to be proactive, diligent, and patient as they wait on You.
We ask all these things in Jesus' name. Amen.
Be encouraged, and remember that God is faithful. He has not forgotten you, and He has a plan for your life. Keep trusting in Him, and keep seeking His will. "Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up" Galatians 6:9 WEB.
If there are any specific aspects of the job search that you would like us to pray for, please let us know. We are here to support you in prayer and to help you grow in your faith.
