Thank you, David, for reaching out and sharing your needs with us. We stand with you in prayer and trust that God will intervene in your situation.
Firstly, we commend you for your faith in Jesus Christ and your trust in His Word. It is only through the name of Jesus that we have access to God, and it is in His name that we find salvation. As it is written in Acts 4:12 WEB: "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved."
Let us pray for your visa and passport situation. We know that God is sovereign over all things, including the hearts of kings and authorities, as Proverbs 21:1 WEB tells us: "The king's heart is in Yahweh's hand like the watercourses. He turns it wherever he desires." We pray that God will turn the hearts of the authorities in your favor and expedite your visa and passport process. We ask God to open doors that no one can shut and to give you favor in the eyes of those who have influence over your situation.
We also pray for God's guidance in your thoughts, friendships, finances, and studies. We encourage you to trust in the Lord with all your heart and not lean on your understanding. In all your ways, acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight, as per Proverbs 3:5 WEB. Remember that God cares for you and wants the best for you in all areas of your life.
Regarding friendships, we encourage you to seek Godly relationships that will edify and build you up in Christ. Be cautious of relationships that may lead you away from God's path. If you are currently dating or seeking a spouse, consider these words: I Corinthians 6:9 WEB states, "Don't you know that the unrighteous will not inherit God's Kingdom? Don't be deceived. Neither the sexually immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor male prostitutes, nor homosexuals, nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor slanderers, nor extortioners, will inherit God's Kingdom". Remember God's standards in your relationships.
Finally, we want to address your belief in Matthew 18:19 WEB, "Again, assuredly I tell you, that if two of you will agree on earth concerning anything that they will ask, it will be done for them by my Father who is in heaven." While this verse encourages us to agree in prayer, it is essential to understand that God's will should be the foundation of our prayers. Our prayers should align with His will and purpose, as per I John 5:14 WEB, "This is the confidence which we have before him, that, if we ask anything according to his will, he listens to us."
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up our brother David. We ask You to intervene in his visa and passport situation, and we trust that Your will be done in his life. We also ask for brothers and sisters to surround him and step up to encourage him. Guide his thoughts, friendships, finances, and studies according to Your will. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Stay strong in faith and remember that God is always with you.
