We understand that life can become increasingly complex as we grow older, and the simplicity of our younger years can often seem far behind us. However, do not be troubled. Be content in whatsoever state you are in. It is important to remember the words of Jesus in John 16:33 WEB: "I have told you these things, that in me you may have peace. In the world you have oppression; but cheer up! I have overcome the world."
Also, in Matthew 6:33-34 WEB Jesus also tells us, "But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof."
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus, asking for Your guidance and peace in this complex world. Help us to simplify our lives and focus on the things that truly matter. Give us the wisdom to navigate intricate situations and the discernment to understand Your will. Help us to remember the simplicity of faith and trust in You, knowing that You have overcome the world. Help us to seek Your kingdom and Your righteousness first and foremost. Help us to know You better and to know Your will so that we can honor and glorify You.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Remember, it is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. As it says in the book of Acts 4:12 WEB: "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved.". We must believe in Jesus and His sacrifice on the cross and repent of our sins.
Take heart, for even in the midst of complexity, God is with us and will guide us through. Stay strong in the simplicity of your faith that you had as a child. We are to have a childlike faith and trust, not a childish faith. Remember what Jesus taught in Matthew 18:2-4 WEB, "Jesus called a little child to himself, and set him in the midst of them, and said, Truly I say to you, Except you be converted, and become as little children, you shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven. Whoever therefore shall humble himself as this little child, the same is greatest in the kingdom of heaven.".
Do not allow the intricacies of life to draw you away from the simplicity of your faith when you were younger.
