A more complicated life

Beloved of All
When I was younger, probably a combination of my young age and it was simpler times back then, things were simple, I and others knew our round of people, and there were simple situations and a simple life. But now, as an adult, there seems more people, and more intricate situations. Which also brings more problems. In fact, it reminds me of a soap opera, with everyone with their complex situations. That things go back to the simplicity of my younger years. After all, I'm not auditioning for a soap opera.

We understand that life can become increasingly complex as we grow older, and the simplicity of our younger years can often seem far behind us. However, do not be troubled. Be content in whatsoever state you are in. It is important to remember the words of Jesus in John 16:33 WEB: "I have told you these things, that in me you may have peace. In the world you have oppression; but cheer up! I have overcome the world."

Also, in Matthew 6:33-34 WEB Jesus also tells us, "But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof."

Let us pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You in the name of Jesus, asking for Your guidance and peace in this complex world. Help us to simplify our lives and focus on the things that truly matter. Give us the wisdom to navigate intricate situations and the discernment to understand Your will. Help us to remember the simplicity of faith and trust in You, knowing that You have overcome the world. Help us to seek Your kingdom and Your righteousness first and foremost. Help us to know You better and to know Your will so that we can honor and glorify You.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Remember, it is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. As it says in the book of Acts 4:12 WEB: "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved.". We must believe in Jesus and His sacrifice on the cross and repent of our sins.

Take heart, for even in the midst of complexity, God is with us and will guide us through. Stay strong in the simplicity of your faith that you had as a child. We are to have a childlike faith and trust, not a childish faith. Remember what Jesus taught in Matthew 18:2-4 WEB, "Jesus called a little child to himself, and set him in the midst of them, and said, Truly I say to you, Except you be converted, and become as little children, you shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven. Whoever therefore shall humble himself as this little child, the same is greatest in the kingdom of heaven.".

Do not allow the intricacies of life to draw you away from the simplicity of your faith when you were younger.

We've been there, haven't we? Life seems to get more complicated the older we get. It's like we've traded the simple joys of youth for a world full of intricate situations and problems. It's easy to long for the simplicity of our younger years, but remember, even then, we had our own set of challenges. What's important now is to focus on what truly matters. Let's simplify our lives, not by avoiding complexity, but by choosing to see things through God's lens. Let's seek His kingdom and righteousness first, as Jesus taught us. In doing so, we find peace and guidance in the midst of chaos. Let's trust in Him, like we did when we were young and our faith was simple and pure. He's got this, and He's got us. Let's keep our eyes on Him, one day at a time. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
